PDHS Panthers earn podium finishes across various track and field events

Paris District High School sends out a large contingent of athletes to the AABHN annual track meet, competing in a variety of events. From a team point of view, the Panthers, with a smaller school comparatively than the rest, place very well in the team standings. Unfortunately, the results weren’t posted on the results website. Kudos to the athletes who competed and to the coaches who devoted their free time to their athletes!
Here is a summary of the events.
Junior Men’s 3000 Meter Race, Reid Francis, third.
Senior Men’s 400 Meter Hurdles, Eoin Wright, first.
Senior Women’s 400 Meter Hurdles, Rowan Worrall, second, followed by Scot Hergott-Leader in third and Hailey McLaren in fourth.
Junior Women’s 300 Meter Hurdles, Jadeyn Stelpstra, second.
Novice Women's Hurdles, Jamisen Draper, third.
Women 800 Meter Run, Rowan Worrall and Maddy Brunson, second and third, respectively.
Men’s Senior 800 Meter Run, Aris Motrea, first, Camden Cadwell, second, and Adam Gagliardi, third.
Junior Women 800 Meter Race, Rachel Tugman, fourth.
Novice 800 Meter Run, Avery Conners, fourth. Elyse Winter also competed in this event.
Senior Women 200 Meter Dash, Scout Hergott-Leader, fourth. Emily Kenny also competed in the final.
Women's Junior 200 Meter Dash, Brianna Montemayor, fourth.
4 x 400 Meter Open Relay, Paris teams placed second and third. The second-place team runners were Scout Hergott-Leader, Sydney Kipp, Rowan Worral, and Hailey McLaren. The third-place crew was Peyton Andree, Maddy Brunson, Emily Kenney, and Chloe Murray.
Men's 4 x 400 Meter Relay, Paris High runners placed first. The members of this team were Camden Caldwell, Adam Gagliardi, Aris Motrea, and Eoin Wright.
Mixed 4 x 400 Novice Relay Race, Trelayne Lacroix, Brianna Montemayor, Rachel Tugman, and Brant Hergott-Leader competed.
Senior Women's High Jump, Aliah Kingswood competed.
Men’s Junior High Jump, Dalton McCallum competed.
Senior Women's Long Jump, Sydney Kipp, first. Brooklyn Sainsbury and Aliah Kingswood also competed.
Men Junior Long Jump, Christopher Kinsman competed.
Men’s Senior Long Jump, Tayshawn Malcolm competed.
Novice Women's Long Jump, Jamisen Draper competed.
Novice Men Long Jump, Omar El Agha competed.
Junior Men’s Triple Jump, Miles Maher competed.
Women’s Senior Triple Jump, Sydney Kipp, first.
Women's Senior Shot Put, Peyton Andree, third. Brooklynn Sainsbury competed.

Novice 400 Meter Dash, Leila Rutherford and Avery Conners competed.
Jadeyn Stelpstra placed second, and Rachel Tugman came in fourth, earning the Paris High team points for the school's overall championship. Brianna Montemayor also competed in this event.
Junior 400 Meter Dash, Brant Hergott-Leader was edged out of placing fourth.
Senior Women’s 400-meter Dash, Maddy Brunson, Emily Kenney, and Chloe Murray competed.
Men’s Senior 400-meter Dash, Eoin Wright, fourth, and Trelayne Lacroix competed.
Novice 100 Meter Dash, Natalie Harrison, first.
Women's Senior 100 Meter Dash, Scout Hergott-Leader, third.
Paris District High swept the first three places on the podium, with Aris Motrea in first, Adam Gagliardi in second, and Camden Caldwell in third. Reid Francis competed in the Junior 1500 run.
Paris District High School’s Rachel Tugman, Julia Maltby, Brianna Montemayor, and Jadeyn Stelpstra were beaten by .33 seconds from a fourth-place finish in the Women’s 4 x 100 Meter Relay Race.
Two Paris teams were entered in the Senior Women’s 4 X 100 Meter relay. Scout Hergott-Leader, Aliah Kingswood, Emily Kenney, and Sydney Kipp came in first, while Hailey McLaren, Chloe Murray, Peyton Andree, and Brooklynn Sainsbury competed.
