Dozens of tractors lined the grounds of Waterloo-Oxford District Secondary School near Baden on Friday as students took part in the school's annual Bring Your Tractor to School Day.

What began years ago as a small gathering has grown into one of the school's most anticipated year-end traditions, attracting tractors of all makes, models and sizes from farms across Waterloo and Perth counties.

The event also featured four food trucks and a variety of activities organized by student council members and staff.

With sunny skies and ideal weather conditions, students spent an extended lunch hour viewing the tractors, visiting with friends and celebrating the area's strong agricultural roots.

Teachers said they appreciate the enthusiasm local farm students bring to the event each year, helping make it both memorable and enjoyable for everyone involved.

Bring Your Tractor to School Day continues to highlight the important role agriculture plays in the communities served by Waterloo-Oxford District Secondary School.
