Despite on-and-off rain throughout the morning, a strong turnout of North Easthope Antique Tractor Club (NEAT) members made their way to the Monkton Diner last Thursday for the club's regular breakfast gathering.

Several antique tractors were parked outside the popular restaurant as members enjoyed a hearty breakfast and the opportunity to catch up with fellow enthusiasts.

Guests were treated to a meal featuring bacon, eggs, coffee and the diner's well-known homemade fries, which have earned a loyal following among local residents and travellers alike.

Many club members agreed the Monkton Diner remains a favourite stop whether they are heading to the lake or returning home.

In addition to its breakfast offerings, the diner is also known for its selection of fresh homemade pastries, baked goods and desserts, which continue to attract visitors from across the region.

The breakfast gathering provided another opportunity for NEAT members to enjoy good food, conversation and a shared appreciation for antique tractors and rural heritage.
