Summer is one of the busiest times of the year at the historic Fryfogel Tavern and Arboretum, and with visitors arriving throughout July and August, the Stratford Perth Heritage Foundation has launched its 2026 fundraising campaign to help preserve the landmark for future generations.
The foundation, which owns and operates the Fryfogel Tavern, is a registered charitable organization that relies on donations to support the site's day-to-day operations and ongoing restoration work.
Funds raised help cover operating expenses while also providing the materials needed to continue preserving the historic inn and tavern, one of Perth County's best-known heritage sites.
The foundation is encouraging residents and visitors to support its preservation efforts. Donations of $20 or more are eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
Contributions can be made by e-transfer, credit card or cheque payable to the Stratford Perth Heritage Foundation and mailed to: Stratford Perth Heritage Foundation, 675 Foreman Ave., Stratford, Ont., N5A 0G2.
Board members thank everyone who continues to support the restoration and preservation of the historic property, helping ensure the Fryfogel Tavern remains an important part of Perth County's heritage for generations to come.
