Laughter, lively conversation, and the comforting aroma of chili filled St. David's United Church in Woodstock on Saturday, Feb. 21, as the One Act Players Community Theatre presented its Chili and Baked Potato Buffet. The event, supported by the Optimist Club of Oxford County, ran from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and welcomed guests of all ages. Guests built their own baked potato masterpieces, layering toppings to their liking before enjoying rich, satisfying bowls of chili. The creative and interactive format delighted families and added a playful touch to the fundraiser. Beyond the food, the buffet served a greater purpose — raising funds and awareness for local community theatre. Organizers reported a strong turnout and expressed appreciation for the community’s continued commitment to supporting local initiatives.
