The Wilmot & Wellesley Resource Centre (WWRC) Annual Community Luncheon fundraiser, also known as the Poor Boy’s Luncheon, will once again take place this year at the New Hamburg Community Centre, 251 Jacob St., New Hamburg, on Sept. 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and then from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

A Health Canada approval allowing pesticide application by remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS), commonly known as drones, was granted in June, allowing farmers and small businesses across Southwestern Ontario to spray pesticides in accordance with the Pest Control Products Act and the Pest Control Products Regulations.
