Residents across Oxford County were invited to take part in the annual Hike for Hospice, held on Sept. 19 at Roth Park in Woodstock. The event served as an important fundraiser for VON Oxford and Sakura House Hospice, supporting compassionate end of life care for individuals and families throughout the region. Funds raised through the hike helped sustain programs that offered comfort, dignity, and essential support to those facing life limiting illness. Participants of all ages joined the walk—many in memory of loved ones, others in support of local hospice services, and many simply to enjoy the scenic waterfront trails while contributing to a meaningful community cause. Volunteers and staff from VON and Sakura House were on site to welcome attendees, share information, and highlight the impact of community driven fundraising efforts.
