Tavistock-area tree service spans three generations

A Tavistock-area company with deep roots in tree care is marking more than 70 years in business.

Lange Bros. Ltd., based on Road 2 in South Easthope Township, east of Harmony, was founded in 1951 by brothers Frank and Ellard Lange. Today, the company includes three generations of the family.

Frank’s son, Rae Lange, later took over the business, continuing the family’s work in tree trimming and removal.

In addition to trimming and removing trees, the company provides stump removal and uses a wood chipper to process branches into mulch.

The company says its longevity reflects a commitment to quality service and long-standing relationships with customers who return year after year.

With three boom trucks capable of reaching more than 90 feet, the team handles jobs of varying sizes across the region.
