Pony rides prove popular addition to Tavistock Fall Fair

The Tavistock Agricultural Society wanted to add something unique for younger visitors to this year’s Tavistock Fall Fair, and pony rides proved to be a big hit.
The new attraction gave children aged two and older an opportunity to climb into the saddle and experience a pony ride, many for the first time.
Throughout the fair, youngsters lined up for their turn to ride while parents and grandparents stood nearby taking photos and capturing memories of the experience.
The mid-sized ponies proved especially popular with the fair’s youngest visitors, who had the chance to feel like cowboys and cowgirls as they were led around the grassy area next to the horse-show ring.
With plenty of smiles from riders and their families, the new attraction added another family-friendly activity to this year’s fall fair.
