Paris Duffers Golf Report

If you want to know who the true warriors are, look no further than your local golf course when the forecast says it WILL rain and see who shows up. Yes readers, the Duffers were there which says something about their dedication. Or common sense.
Not so mad Al was paired with whazzit name to take on Cutter and Brownie. This looked like a route on paper but, I think his name was Jack, drove #10 green to put fear in the big boys. Fast forward to the last hole. In a tie game with Cuts and Brownie on in two, Al chipped within ten feet and his partner sunk it for the win! Wish I could remember his name. Oh well.
The next group out was Bergy and Double G playing the terrifying Chick and Double B. This also came down to the last hole as well but GG and Bergs prevailed. Seems like Chicken joined the navy since he was always in the water. Thanks boys. The milk was appreciated.
We also had a threesome (oh, grow up) of Sinc, Hoogs and the other Double G. Seems these boys lost direction and skipped a hole to avoid the group behind them. For this sleight of hand move I believe you owe us a round of your coldest milk. At the nineteenth hole we introduced a new competition for buying the rounds. It's a game as old as civilization. The coin flip. The result makes me glad wives don't read this column as yours truly got the short straw. And, apparently, Sinc is a ghost when the milk comes.
That's a wrap for this week. Until next, keep em in the fairways.
