Mogk family honoured for contributions to Tavistock Fall Fair horse show

The heavy horse show continues to be a popular tradition at the Tavistock Fall Fair, drawing draft-horse exhibitors and spectators to the ringside each year.

Much of the credit for the show’s continued success goes to Tavistock’s Mogk family, which has carried on a tradition that began many years ago.

Ken Mogk remains proud to see his family continue its involvement with the draft-horse show and help ensure the popular fall fair event continues for future generations.

Donna Mogk has since taken the reins in organizing and managing the show, continuing a family tradition that also included her late mother, Carol Mogk.

The family remembers Carol for always being there to lend a hand throughout the years and for the role she played in making the horse show a successful part of the Tavistock Fall Fair.

This year, the Mogk family was joined at the show by friends, exhibitors and those responsible for judging the draft-horse competition, all helping to continue a longstanding agricultural tradition in Tavistock.
