The local Legion was a sea of emerald and shamrocks last Thursday as the darts league gathered for a spirited St. Patrick’s Day celebration. The evening was defined by high-energy music, a packed house, and some truly creative displays of the holiday.

While most arrived decked out in traditional green attire, the "Original Dress" honors went to Booner. Finding herself without the proper color for the occasion, she proved that necessity is the mother of invention by fashioning a custom green "shirt" out of a shopping bag.

On the flip side, Gail D. admitted she "forgot to get dressed up," but her lack of festive gear didn't hinder her performance. She silenced the room by shooting the high score of the night, a 126!

The competition on the boards was as fierce as the atmosphere was loud. Cheryl F. led the charge in precision finishes, recording a field-high three double-outs. She was closely trailed by Debbie K., Nancy C., and Debbie P., who each secured two.

Other key contributors who helped push their teams toward victory with successful double-outs included Nancy B.,  MaryAnne K., Gail D. and Bryanna K.

The "cork" was a popular target throughout the night. Katy O. and Shari E. shared the top spot for bullseyes with two apiece—Shari notably landing both of hers within a single game. Single bullseyes were also recorded by Bryanna B., Cheryl F., Patti S., and Cree.

As the music wound down and the final games concluded, the group gathered for a commemorative photo. The moment was captured by the Legion’s own resident photographer, Steve the bartender, ensuring the "fun and very loud" night of laughs was properly documented for the archives.
