The Goderich Co-op Gallery is pleased to feature gallery member Tamara Andre as its November visiting artist.

All are welcome to her opening reception on Saturday, November 14, at 2 p.m. You are also invited to drop by, watch Tamara at work, and chat about her artistic journey as she paints live in the gallery on November 5, 18, and 25.

Andre has painted and doodled since childhood, and her vibrant, deeply expressive work reflects a lifelong fascination with the natural world.

A resident of Huron County since 1994, she draws inspiration from the region's landscapes, from the shifting colours of the trees and the rhythm of wildlife to the interplay of light and movement found in nature.

Her decades-long career as a piano and instrument technician has also shaped her creative practice. Just as each instrument must be finely tuned to reveal its fullest sound, her paintings balance structure and spontaneity, weaving together layers of bold colour and dynamic form.

Influenced by music, nature and fellow artists, her pieces often pulse with energy, guiding the viewer’s eye through intricate patterns and organic shapes.

Whether exploring the delicate geometry of leaves or the abstract rhythm of colour itself, Andre invites viewers to slow down, look closer and find harmony in the natural beauty that surrounds us.

To explore more of her work, visit TamaraAndreArtist.com or follow her on Instagram @tamaraandreartist.
