Things will start getting creepy in Cobourg at nightfall next month.
The Town of Cobourg’s community services division has announced the return of Experience Cobourg’s Ghost Walks. Online ticket sales opened on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at 9 a.m.
“This October, brave the dark and uncover the chilling secrets hidden in Cobourg’s oldest streets, where eerie tales, legendary figures and haunted landmarks await,” said organizers, in a recent release.
The 2026 installment features a “freshly reimagined route” featuring never-before-told stops and stories.
Tours run Fridays throughout October – with extra nights during the week of Halloween – and run for about two hours. The tours start at Henley Arcade, which is located at 48 A King St. W.
Walks will be happening during the following dates and times:
Friday, Oct. 2 at 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 9 at 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 30 at 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.

This is a walking tour and rain or shine event. However, in the event of extreme weather, the tour will be cancelled and all ticket holders for that evening will be contacted.
Parental guidance is advised, noted the town.
