With a bachelor’s in commerce and running a small business called Charlie’s Variety in Huron County since 2007, Kaushik Patel believes it is time to get involved in municipal government and is running for a position for Central Huron East Ward.

With the aim of trying to better help the community continue to grow, Patel believes he can offer a different perspective, a different insight into the needs of the community, to make a difference.

Involved in the BIA for almost six years, and at present, a member of the Board of Clinton Public Hospital since 2022, Patel has also volunteered for soccer clubs when his kids were in school and helped at the high school when they were older.

“I’m running to help grow the area for the future of coming generations,” stated Patel.
