What started as an idea between two local artists has grown into one of Paris' most welcoming creative communities. Four years after its first sketch meet-up, the Paris Sketchers group continues to attract artists of all ages and abilities who gather once a month to capture the community's historic streetscapes, natural beauty and unique landmarks – while building friendships along the way.

The County of Brant has taken the first official step toward building a new central library, approving in principle a project plan that would see work begin on site investigations, concept design and other preparatory studies before a final construction budget returns to council.

Despite investing in physician recruitment over the past three years, the County of Brant continues to face a growing shortage of family doctors, prompting staff to recommend a fresh approach focused on stronger regional partnerships and updated recruitment strategies.
