A tradition started in Wilmot Township a few years ago has now spread to Canada’s capital, and local Royal Canadian Legion members are hoping to take it even further next year.

There is plenty of opportunity to honour veterans and those actively serving in the military across Blandford-Blenheim Township this week thanks to the efforts of volunteers with the Plattsville and District Heritage Society.

Adopt-a-Family Stratford is officially back in its sixth year, offering locals a chance to give back to families in need during the holiday season.
