U18 Strikers advance in Nothers Cup, hosts Blue Mountains United

The Stratford U18 Strikers Boys move forward in the Nothers Cup after a 4-3 victory over Kitchener TFC on June 19 at RBJ Schlegel Park in Kitchener.

Caden Ollson scored twice to lead the Strikers, with Nicholas Brintell and Piers Murray also finding the net for the visitors.

As a result of this win, Stratford will compete against Rockwood FC in the semifinals on July 10 at Marden Park in Guelph.

On June 22, the Strikers hosted Blue Mountains United at Cowan Field in Festival Hydro Park.

Brintell scored the lone goal for the Strikers in the 1-1 draw with Blue Mountains United. Stratford improves to 4-1-1 in the season, with 13 points in fourth position in the Southwest District Soccer League U18 Division. Stratford’s next match is against Oriental SC at the Campo Do Oriental in Cambridge on June 29.
