U16 Strikers Boys get shut out in Guelph

For the fourth straight match in SWDSL regular-season play, the Stratford U16 Boys Strikers failed to produce a winning result. On June 9, the Strikers faced the Guelph Jr. Gryphons at the University of Guelph.

The Strikers were defeated 4-0 by the Gryphons and will be down two players for the next game at Puslinch on June 16, as Thomas Mott and Ashton Van Kooten both received red cards during the match. This is the second straight match the Strikers have gone scoreless and lost 4-0.

With the loss, Stratford is tied for seventh with Huron Perth United and Owen Sound United with four points.
