The Waterford Lions, Waterford Firefighters Association, and Quick Lane & Lube are teaming up again to hold their scrap metal collection this year.

If you have any old scrap metal, old appliances or unused metal items sitting around collecting dust, you can dispose of them for free and give back at the same time. They will take care of getting rid of it for you. Your donations to their bin, located at Quick Lane & Lube in Waterford, are greatly appreciated and all monies raised through the bins go directly back into the community through their support of local projects, initiatives and events. Last year the community did a lot of ‘housecleaning’ while helping to support them.

Organizers would like residents to keep in mind that there are certain items that are not accepted (ie. propane tanks, oil, wood, paint cans, glass…). To learn all of the unacceptable items, you can check on Facebook (Waterford Lions Club). Please follow the lists and only dispose of those items listed as ‘Accepted’.

While saving time and not having the hassle of locating disposal services for your scrap metal items, then transporting them yourself, be sure to take advantage of this service they are nice enough to offer. Let them do the work for you and support their fundraising efforts while doing so. Thanks to all involved in this clean up.
