On Aug. 6, the Stratford Hunter Steel Warriors and the Greater Ontario Hockey League (GOHL) released their official 2026-2027 season schedule.
Stratford will open their 50-game regular season with two road games on opening weekend. On Sept. 11, Stratford travels to the Pyramid Recreation Complex for a Western Conference Finals rematch against the St. Marys Lincolns. The following day, the Warriors travel to Woodstock for their first-ever matchup with the Navy Vets.
The Warriors begin their home slate of the regular season with another rematch from the 2026 postseason, this time against the Chatham Maroons at the William Allman Memorial Arena on Sept. 18.
The Warriors renew acquaintances with their first encounters of regional counterparts Elmira on Oct. 11 and host the Listowel Cyclones on Oct. 17.
The Warriors will play a total of 44 games within the Western Conference and six against the Eastern Conference. Their first cross-conference game is a home match versus Eastern finalist Fort Erie on Nov. 6, followed by an away game at Welland on Nov. 15. Additional home games against Eastern teams include the Pelham Panthers on Nov. 27 and the Ayr Centennials on Feb. 12.
They will face the Waterloo Siskins on the road for their only encounter of the season on Jan. 24, and the regular season finale against Stoney Creek on March 6.
Stratford opens their four-game preseason schedule against Woodstock on Aug. 24 at the Stratford Rotary Complex.
