St. Marys Kinettes hold annual St. Paddy’s Day pub night with musical entertainment by the Sheridan Band

The St. Marys Kinettes held their annual St. Paddy’s Day pub night Saturday at the St. Marys Legion.

The musical entertainment was the Sheridan Band, a high-energy Celtic folk group. The group consists of five family members who grew up playing together at family events and special occasions.

They have travelled and performed across Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and the northeastern United States. It’s easy to see they love playing together and they pass that energy on to their audience.

They cover a blend of Celtic tunes along with some contemporary rock that gets the crowd up on their feet.

The funds raised from this event will go towards community support programs.

Next up for the club will be their annual Easter Egg Hunt that will take place on Saturday, April 4, down at the Lions Park in Milt Dunnell Field. It will go from 9am to 11am. Kids that are nine and under must be accompanied by an adult. Cost is a non-perishable food item for the Salvation Army Food Bank.
