Shakespeare Falcons U-15 boys bring home league championship

The Shakespeare Falcons U-15 boys brought home the league championship to Shakespeare after winning the South Perth U-15 League championship tournament.

The boys finished the season in second place overall, with a 12-3 record heading into the double-elimination tournament, hosted in Shakespeare over two weekends.

The team played three games. In Game 1, they beat Wilmot 1, 7-0. Isaac Brenneman was the winning pitcher, with Nash Follings and Elliott Peters each recording two RBIs.

In Game 2, they beat Wilmot 2, 15-3, with Isaac Brenneman again earning the win as pitcher. Blake Wilhelm and Max Hughes each had three RBIs.

Game 3 was the final, where they beat Wilmot 2 again, 14-4. Isaac Brenneman was the winning pitcher, while Blaine Follings earned the hold in relief. Liam Uniac had three RBIs in the game.

The Shakespeare Community Athletic Association (SCAA) and the community congratulated the U-15 boys on a season well played, saying they had made Shakespeare sports fans proud of their accomplishments this year.
