Raiders ready to host Friday Night Lights

Delhi District Secondary School’s Friday Night Lights football game is back in 2026.
On Friday, Oct. 9, the Raiders will host Pauline Johnson in an AABHN varsity foot game under the lights. Kick-off is at 8 p.m. There is a $5 admission. Children under 5 are free. Gates open at 6:30 p.m., food trucks on site.
Look for the 50-50 draw, it’s sure to be big.
In their first two games, Delhi shut out Valley Heights 34-0 and last week blanked Simcoe 21-0. The Raiders are one of four undefeated teams so far in the eight-team varsity division.
Pauline Johnson is also undefeated going into Friday Night Lights. The Brantford team shut out Holy Trinity 45-0 and defeated Cayuga 35-7.
The AABHN regular season season will continue until Nov. 6.
Early in the South Junior Girls basketball season, the Raiders also on top of the standings with a 2-0 record, tied with Holy Trinity. The two teams are scheduled to meet Oct. 15 in Delhi (4:30 p.m.).
