The rumble of high-octane engines and the gleam of polished chrome are coming to town as the Paris Shops Poker Run prepares to take over the roads on Saturday, September 19th. Rain or shine, vehicle lovers from across the region will gather in Paris, Ontario, turning a shared passion for motor culture into direct support for a critical local cause, the Paris Food Bank.

The event embraces every corner of the garage. Pristine European tuners, roaring muscle cars, vintage hot rods, custom trucks, and motorcycles of every shape and size will stand side by side. If it has wheels and you are proud to drive it, it belongs in the lineup.

The adventure begins long before the ignitions turn on Saturday morning. Drivers start by securing their spot online through a quick, two-minute pre-registration at parisrun.ca. Bright and early on event day, participants head straight to the registration desk to check in, submit their twenty-dollar cash entry fee, and collect their official numbers.

At 9:00 AM, the first wave of engines roars to life as vehicles roll out onto the open road. Drivers receive their secret route on the morning of the event, guiding them through a curated tour of local shops tucked inside Paris and neighboring communities. At each stop, participants grab a playing card, steadily building their five-card hand as they navigate the countryside. By early afternoon, the convoy makes its way back to home base to reveal their final hands. Friendly rivalries will settle over who drew the winning hand, alongside awards for People’s Choice and local community prizes. As the final engines switch off, the grill fires up shortly after noon, bringing drivers, neighbors, and supporters together for a classic community barbecue to wrap up a day built on good rides and local pride.
