Paris Duffers Golf Report

The Duffers' Brownie Lights It Up.
There are times, few and far between, when one of our own stands out above the rest for their skill with the crooked sticks. Yes, our wall of fame has few inductees. That changed this past Friday at the Burford Golf Course as one of our own single handedly wrestled the links to it's knees. Not to take anything away from Happy Al and Chicken who dominated Barefoot Bergie and his son-in-law Dusty. There was no mercy shown to the newcomer Dusty but Bergs generously took blame because his daughter is going to hold one of them accountable for the family shame.
It also overshadows how Dino and Kopper won the last three holes to overcome a down two deficit for their win over Sinc and Swanee for the milk.
The match of Double G and Big Ferg also featured a come from behind versus Hoogs and Enzo. Although this round ended in a tie it is all but lost in the hoopla that occurred in the feature match.
BB and Fever could only watch in awe as Brownie, with his sidekick AA, dominated. Down five holes going to the 18th Feve and Beech had the hutzpah to press and paid the price. Double the milk and double the pain. Brownie was way too much on this day. Although it's not uncommon to see the likes of Rory or Tiger get back to back birdies, it is a feat that escapes most Duffers except our man of the hour. Although he refused a post game interview his manager AA confirmed that not only did Brownie accomplish this act but in between holes he also saved a child from a burning building and acquired world peace. What a guy.
Even though that was all a tough act to follow the gang will be back next week and attempt to claim their own spot on the Duffers wall of Fame. Until then keep em in the fairways.
