In yet another episode of " Did You See Where My Ball Went" Chicken wondered aloud about Bergie's fashion sense, J became fiscally responsible and questions still swirl regarding the Sobeys encounter. Lots to unpack here.
In the first encounter of the day Dino and Dr. Fever had Jacquer and Bergy on the ropes at 18 as Feve stuck their third shot inside of two feet. In a dramatic ending, Jacquer sunk a forty footer to ensure a tie. In threesome action Cutter not only took on Chicken and Brownie but also gave them a three shot handicap. This proved costly since the dynamic duo beat him by a single stroke. I'm sure Cutter won't be as generous next time. In the meantime Kopper and Big Al seemed to be the favorites against Fergy and Double G until the 16th when the underdogs got their groove back finishing with eagle, birdie and par to win by two. Following that Willie and Enzo won outright over J and Hoogs. When asked why they didn't press the last hole J replied "we weren't going to get stuck paying for two bottles of milk.”
It seems the upcoming new start time of 12:15 is already creating confusion amongst a group of guys that can't even decide what to have for breakfast and was that Griselda from The Hilarious House of Frightenstein online promoting the Branch 29 Legion's drag bingo night?
Until next week, keep em in the fairways.
