‘Nothing but praise’: Muirstone Living experience positive reception to Hawthorne apartment sneak peak

New resort-inspired apartments are coming to Stratford and hundreds of interested guests got to take a look at the model suites recently.

Muirstone Living held a sneak peek event for their Hawthorne apartments, which will be at McCarthy Road W and Orr Road, on July 11. More than 300 registered guests got a chance to look at the one- and two-bedroom units and learned more about the building’s amenities.

“Our biggest problem is getting people out of the model suites so that we can get the next bunch in because everybody is already planning how they're going to set up their furniture, so it's been quite amazing. Nothing but praise,” said Bill Muir, head of marketing and brand manager at Muirstone.

Most guests expressed interest in a two-bedroom suite. Each apartment unit will have one free parking spot for tenants, ensuite laundry and stainless-steel appliances that are mark-less.

"You can touch them with your fingers and it doesn't leave a mark, so that's pretty handy,” Muir said.

The Hawthorne will be pet-friendly and feature a full-sized gym, two indoor lounge areas, a dining area with a kitchen, a games room, a pet washing station and a mailroom. Outside, tenants can spend time at the gazebo with a fireplace and mounted TVs, outdoor lounge areas, firepits with Muskoka chairs, barbecues, a putting area and courts to play either bocce ball or pickleball.

"There's a lot to do at Hawthorne,” Muir said.

He added that the quality of the apartments mean Hawthorne and Stratford are a good match.

“Stratford is known for quality and the Hawthorne goes along with the theme of Stratford,” said Muir.
