Grant Haven Media publishes its first edition of the West Northumberland Independent on

Friday, July 31, 2026.

In Port Hope, the newspaper will be available for free at the following locations:

• Queenies Bake Shop: 16 Walton St.

• Dreamer’s Café: 2 Queen St.

• Furby House Books: 65 Walton St.

• Community Health Centres of Northumberland: 99 Toronto Rd., Suite 101

• MPP David Piccini Constituency Office: 117 Peter St.

• The Pulse Café and Eatery: 10 Robertson St.

• A-Plus Convenience: 68 Wellington St.

• PH Super Convenience: 127 Toronto Rd.

• Victoria Convenience: 132 Victoria St. N.

• Super Stop Convenience: 363 Ontario St.

• Maple Leaf Smoke Land Variety: 123 Peter St.
