New ownership at Snapping Turtle Coffee Roasters

St. Marys resident Jessie Doogan will be taking over ownership at Snapping Turtle Coffee Roasters effective March 31.

Doogan, who has worked at Snapping Turtle for the last three years, is excited to take the business into the next era. She’ll be closing the doors briefly from March 31 to April 6 to make some alterations and then will be re-opening on April 7 under their regular hours.

Sal Vaianisi, the coffee shop’s current owner, is looking forward to some extra free time to tinker with his motorcycles, spend time out on the boat and catching up on travel.

He also plans to spend time “on the other side of the counter” at the Snapping Turtle, seeing some of the many friends he has made through the business.
