On September 25, the Mounties began a four-game road trip and were only able to pick up two points, getting one win out of a possible four.

It all started with a visit to Tavistock, the Crokinole capital of Canada, if not the world, to face the Braves. Unfortunately, the team lost 8-2. Jack Kersey and Ryan O’Keefe were the lone goal scorers. The next day, the team travelled further west to Dorchester to play the Dolphins and defeated them 6-4. Lincoln Swerdfeger, Ethan Markle, Dimitri Eleftheriadis, brothers Jack and Cole Kersey, and Keegan Clarke scored.

This past weekend, they played two games in New Hamburg and Wellesley. The game against the Firebirds was one to forget with the Mounties falling 4-0.  The following night, they faced off against the Applejacks and showed marginal improvement, still posting a 4-1 loss. Tyler Crisostomo, assisted by O’Keefe and Benjamin Easson, scored Paris’ only goal in the second period. They spent 18 minutes in the penalty box which cost them three power play goals.

The Mounties return home to the Brant Sports Complex, this Saturday evening at 7:30 am to face the Wellesley Applejacks in what hopefully will be a chance for redemption.
