Focusing on compassion, resilience, mental health awareness and community support, the Mayor’s Luncheon was held at Knights of Columbus Hall in Goderich on May 21.
Leading a moderated panel discussion, Mayor Trevor Bazinet highlighted the importance of leadership, collaboration and inclusion to help build a healthier, more connected community.
“[The] Mayor’s Luncheon was a wonderful opportunity to bring people together for an important conversation,” wrote Mayor Trevor Bazinet in a statement made on social media.
“The [panel] discussion highlighted the importance of partnerships and regional collaboration in supporting the well-being of residents across Huron, Bruce and Grey counties.”
Joined by Cait McKinnon, Shannon McGavin, Gwen Devereaux and Natalie Steenstra, Mayor Bazinet brought together leaders from across business and non-profit organizations for an afternoon of connection, community pride, and meaningful conversation.
Hosted through the long-standing partnership between the Huron Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Goderich, and sponsored by Compass Minerals, the luncheon provided a space to reflect on issues that matter to the community’s future.
“Conversations like these remind us that when communities work together, we can create positive change and support one another in lasting ways,” added Bazinet.
