Manni Hayer of Wellesley has been named the 2026-2027 Ambassador of the Fair for the Wellesley-North Easthope Agricultural Society.
With Hayer the sole applicant for this year’s senior ambassador position, Wellesley Fall Fair directors were pleased to welcome someone who already has plenty of experience representing the fair and her community.
Hayer made history two years ago when she was named the Wellesley Fall Fair’s first Junior Fair Ambassador after the program was introduced by Katie Musselman.
Since then, Hayer has continued to volunteer at numerous community events, including the Wellesley Fall Fair, the Wellesley Apple Butter and Cheese Festival and Taste the Culture, helping celebrate the traditions and diverse cultures found throughout the Wellesley area.
“Through my previous involvement as junior ambassador with the Wellesley Agricultural Society, I have developed strong leadership, communication, organization and public-speaking skills,” Hayer said.
Her previous experience as junior ambassador and continued community involvement will now serve her well as she takes on the senior ambassador role for the coming year.
As ambassador of the fair, Hayer will once again have an opportunity to represent the agricultural society and promote the Wellesley Fall Fair and the community it serves.
This year’s Wellesley Fall Fair runs Friday, Aug. 28 and Saturday, Aug. 29.
