Lindsay man accused of exposing himself at commercial property: Northumberland OPP

Northumberland OPP says police have made an arrest in connection with an indecent act investigation involving a Lindsay man who allegedly exposed himself at a commercial property.
On Thursday, Aug. 27, 2026, Northumberland OPP said police received a report about an individual allegedly exposing themselves while at a commercial premises on 1st Line Road in the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand.
“The incident occurred earlier that day, and the individual had left the area prior to police arrival,” reported OPP.
Police said the investigation then led to one arrest the following day, and a 22-year-old Lindsay resident charged with committing an indecent act in a public place and failure to comply with a probation order.
None of these charges have been proven in court.

It’s important that authorities took swift action in this case, making an arrest the day after the incident was reported. The additional charge for failure to comply with a probation order raises further questions about public safety and accountability. Keeping communities safe from such incidents is crucial, whether one is just passing through or enjoying sz games nearby.
