Lincolns offer post-AGM organizational update

With just a few weeks until beginning their exhibition schedule and a little over a month away from their home opener, the St. Marys Lincolns are putting the finishing touches on their off-season.

The Lincolns will play four pre-season games beginning Aug. 28 when they host Stratford, followed by a home game against Komoka Aug. 30. St. Marys then visits Stratford Sept. 4 and Komoka Sept. 5.

- Friday, Aug. 28, 7:30 p.m. - Lincolns vs Warriors

- Sunday, Aug. 30, 2:30 p.m. - Lincolns vs Kings

- Friday, Sept. 4, 7:30 p.m. - Lincolns @ Warriors

- Saturday, Sept. 5, 7:15 p.m. - Lincolns @ Kings

The second tier of early bird season pass pricing will be available at both home exhibition games and at a pre-season event to be announced later this month. The prices will go up after the home opener.

The Lincolns’ home opener will be Sept. 11 when the Lincolns host a rematch of the 2026 Western Conference final against the Stratford Warriors. The Western Conference Championship banner will be unveiled before the game.

There are still a number of sponsorship options available, in addition to ad space in the annual Lincs program. Options include broadcast sponsor, meal sponsor options, Lincs launch title sponsor, amongst others. Contact sponsorship@lincs.ca for more info.

The Lincs are seeking volunteers interested in operating the clock for home games, horn operators and anyone interested in contributing to a post-game meal preparation throughout the year. Please contact gameday@lincs.ca for more info.

At the Lincs’ annual general meeting June 17, the Lincolns elected their 2026-2027 executive and board of directors. The executive includes Brandon Boyd as president, Pete Frehner as vice president, Stewart Grant as treasurer, Spencer Seymour as secretary and Bill Lowe and past president.

Returning board members include Barb Boscarato, Chris Collins, Geoff Goldsack, David Grant, Dawn Leslie, Melanie Lowe, Shari Ann McHardy, Rob Mossey, Dan Murrell, Christine Palmer, Mike Rock and Kara Stevens. New members elected to the board include Brian Dundas, Mike Morning and Justin Smibert.
