International Graphics to host first Printapoolooza in support of Stratford House of Blessing

International Graphics in Stratford is hosting its first Printapoolooza, a community event in support of the Stratford House of Blessing Food Bank.

The event takes place Saturday, June 20 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 505 Douro St., Stratford.

The family-friendly celebration will feature food trucks, a kids’ zone with face painting and a bouncy castle, and live music throughout the day.

Entertainment includes performances by Rusted Rebels, Tourniquet and headlining Juno-nominated artist Glenn Marais.

Guests will also have the opportunity to tour the 60,000-square-foot International Graphics facility and go behind the scenes at one of North America’s leading printing companies.

“We’re honestly a hidden little gem here in Stratford and we wanted to invite the community to have a peek at what we do here at International Graphics,” said Michelle Wright, sales executive.

Another highlight of the day will be a car show featuring the Corvette Club of Ontario and the Stratford Cruisers.

“We will have over 20 Corvettes on display, as well as the Stratford Cruisers,” said Wright.

International Graphics moved to Stratford in 1929 and has since expanded across North America. What began as a company printing wedding invitations has grown into a business focused on custom printing, communications, marketing technology and interactive solutions.

“Back in the 1970s and 1980s, wedding invitations were quite popular and if you lived anywhere in Canada, your invitations were most likely coming from International Graphics,” said Wright. “But now we literally do almost everything. We print over 21 million business cards a year. We make letterhead, envelopes, marketing materials, mailing programs, promotional items, branded attire, signage and so much more. We’re kind of a one-stop shop.”

The Stratford House of Blessing Food Bank will be on site collecting non-perishable food donations, as well as cash and card donations to support local families in need. Anyone who donates will have the opportunity to fill out a ballot to win a prize at the end of the day.
