Yes this may be the very place that a considerable number of hockey dreams come to die. But on this day, Team White was not about to go quietly into the abyss!
The riveting juggernaut that was Team White was led by Birthday Boy Bob Kivinen. The ageless wonder was the set up and Finnish ( his heritage ) to almost all team plays. And a humble man, when told of his domination just said " oh....no"
When you have a feisty group, the tempers can flare and that they did. Team White's "win at all costs" was very apparent in ice time allocation. The clock was ticking and watched methodically. The near dressing room donnybrook was defused by the well prepared EMT professionals on site. Thank-you for saving us from higher liability insurance!
It was a day of eight call ups due to absence and bad concerts. Camstone should be recognized in this light as the recipient of this year's Tony Stark Iron Man of Duster Hockey. Though he has been barred from scoring, Camstone did not miss one game. And he looks divine in purple. Well done, Cameron.
So, as we wrap up this week's Duster Report we look ahead to Thursday August 27.
This is the final game of Duster Hockey 2026 and the surreal Dust Pan Championship Game. It's all
on the line, all season is a warmup for this event. That's the story folks....one more Duster game awaits at the BSC on August 27 at 5:30pm. Come on out and join in the year end fan appreciation night at the Freeman Pub...beginning at 6:45 pm.
On that note, please be well and safe until next time!
