Local bowling talent was celebrated Oct. 20 as the City of Stratford recognized provincial champions for their outstanding achievements, including several bowlers representing Mike’s Bowling Lanes.

The recognition honoured the dedication, hard work and competitive success of Stratford-area athletes who represented their sport at the provincial level.

Six Mike’s Lanes bowlers were present to receive the honour, including Owen Martin, Brooke Louwagie, Kevin McKenna, Claire Turner, Dominic Boyles-Keating and Wiatt Robinson. Also recognized were Jocelyn Gethke and Christine Mair, who were unable to attend the ceremony.

Their achievements reflect the commitment, practice and determination required to compete at the provincial level. Mike’s Lanes has long been a gathering place for bowlers of all ages, helping develop local talent and foster a strong sense of community through the sport.
