Brett Kissel, Lindsay Ell returning to headline Paris Fair country concert

Canadian country star Brett Kissel performs before a packed crowd during his 2024 appearance at the Paris Fair. Two familiar faces will return to the Paris Fair stage this Labour Day weekend as Canadian country music stars Brett Kissel and Lindsay Ell headline the Sunday Night Country Concert.

The Paris Agricultural Society announced Friday that Kissel will headline the Sept. 6 concert during the 168th Paris Fair, with Ell opening what organizers are billing as a showcase of Canadian country music. Neither artist is a stranger to Paris Fair audiences. Kissel previously performed at the fair as a rising country star before becoming one of Canada's biggest names in the genre, while Ell has also taken the Paris Fair stage in past years.

Kissel has since become one of Canada's most decorated country performers, earning multiple JUNO Awards and Canadian Country Music Association Awards, along with Gold and Platinum-certified albums and numerous chart-topping singles. Known for his high-energy live performances and strong connection with audiences, he remains one of the country's most in-demand touring artists.

Ell has built an international reputation as an accomplished singer, songwriter and guitarist. Her blend of country and rock influences, combined with her acclaimed guitar skills, has earned her a loyal fan base and hits including Criminal, Waiting on You and Right on Time.
