The Wilmot Heritage Fire Brigades continues to see support for its monthly 50/50 draw, with recent winners coming from both near and far.

In August, Toronto resident Richard Desrocher purchased a ticket online to support the organization and ended up winning $650.

The September winner was much closer to home.

Baden resident Ruth-Anne McLeod took home $350 in the latest draw supporting the Wilmot Heritage Fire Brigades and its efforts to preserve historic fire trucks and firefighting equipment.

President Peter Gingerich said the monthly 50/50 draw will continue through the fall and winter.

He hopes residents across the area will continue supporting the organization’s preservation work, with the added possibility of taking home a cash prize.
