While many church parking lots across Perth County fill with cars and trucks on Sunday mornings, Amish families near Topping arrive for worship by horse and buggy.
On this particular Sunday, families gathered at a farm east of Topping, where church services were held in a farm driving shed, continuing a longstanding tradition of rotating worship among Amish homes and farms.
For the Amish community, Sunday remains a day devoted to faith, family and rest. The familiar sight of horse-drawn buggies travelling the rural roads is a reminder of a lifestyle that continues to value simplicity and tradition.
