Port Hope council approves remediation work at file factory, costs to be added to owner’s tax bill
Cleanup efforts are continuing at 121 Cavan St. – the site more commonly known as the former file factory property – and the Municipality of Port Hope expects the property owner to pay for costs associated with remediation being undertaken at the municipal level, say officials.
