As noted previously, the Junior side is composed mainly of Grade 9 students with little or no experience playing organized basketball. At the beginning of the season, they looked lost on the court, while their coaches screamed reminders about how to handle situations the boys had never encountered. Last Thursday, the Juniors faced the 7-1 Assumption Lions, and I was surprised by how much they have improved on bringing the ball down the court, their passing, and defensive play. or several years, the Brantford Bulldogs Equipment Manager, Chris Cook, has travelled to the World Junior Hockey Championships as the team's equipment manager, this time to Minnesota. Taking over his duties during this time will be Paris' own Dave Curtain, currently with the Bulldogs, and Doug Green, currently with the Paris Titans. 

The Panthers continued their winning streak by defeating the St John’s Eagles 3-1. On Wednesday, the Panthers took their first loss of the year, losing 4-1 to Assumption College. Reagan Charter was the lone scorer for Paris.
