Banfield Art Crawl returned this past weekend, braving torrential rain and bringing plenty of colour to an otherwise grey day. With 50 talented artists and creators showcasing and selling their work, the damp weather did little to dampen the spirits of guests, who arrived in raincoats with umbrellas to browse and shop. Organizers say visitors travelled from Toronto, Guelph, Niagara and London to take part in the fourth annual event.

The grand opening of Il Posto Giusto Ristorante last Monday marked the latest addition to a wave of new businesses helping reshape downtown Paris this year. Located beside the Arlington Hotel’s River’s Edge event space, the family-owned and operated restaurant features an authentic Italian menu inspired by classic recipes and traditional cuisine.

It was a sweet return to spring in Paris on Saturday as the Paris Lions Club hosted its annual Maple Syrup Festival. The long-running community favourite brings together residents and visitors for a day of entertainment, local connections and, of course, plenty of pancakes.
