The Town of St. Marys recently recognized three St. Marys residents who have demonstrated their commitment to community for being Strong As Stone.

Staff and students at Walkerton District Community School (WDCS) and members of the surrounding community are in mourning after an assistant softball coach and four students were killed in a multivehicle collision near Thorndale Friday afternoon.

It is with heavy heart and much consideration that Richard “Andy” Anderson has decided to leave his position as the director of emergency services/fire chief after serving more than nine years of dedicated service to the Town of St. Marys.
