Stratford-Perth Pride announces 2026 Perth County Pride March and Stratford Pride Festival

Stratford-Perth Pride is excited to announce the return of the annual Perth County Pride March and Stratford Pride Festival, taking place on Sunday, May 31. Community members, allies and visitors are invited to come together in celebration, solidarity and support of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

The day will begin with the Perth County Pride March at 1 p.m., starting at the Tom Patterson Theatre. Participants will march along Lakeside Drive in a vibrant show of pride and unity, making their way to Upper Queen's Park.

Following the march, festivities will continue at the Stratford Pride Festival from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Upper Queen’s Park. This year’s festival promises an exciting and inclusive lineup of entertainment and activities for all ages. Attendees can enjoy live music from Gravity Junky and Trash Panda Brass, performances by Stratford Dance Co. and appearances from talented drag performers. The festival will also feature face painting, family-friendly activities, food trucks and a vibrant vendor market showcasing local businesses, community organizations and resources supporting the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

To keep the celebration going, Stratford-Perth Pride will host an official afterparty later that evening. Trash Panda Brass will take the stage at Matilda Gallery and Art Bar, with doors opening at 7 p.m. and the performance beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Pride celebrations will continue throughout the month of June, with a number of exciting events planned across Stratford and Perth County. These include a Pride fundraising dance, queer music bingo and a cabaret brunch at Starlight. These events offer additional opportunities for community connection, celebration and support.
