Locally Sourced exhibition celebrates homegrown talent

The Grand Gallery is helping strike the perfect balance between action and leisure this August with its second 2026 exhibition, Locally Sourced, opening Wednesday, August 5 and running through Sunday, September 6. As summer winds down and thoughts slowly turn to fall, it's the perfect excuse to take a stroll through downtown Paris.

Locally Sourced showcases the work of local artists working across a wide range of mediums, including painters Linda Rudyk, Lyndsay Showers-Pearce, Aliki Mikulich, Tania Ploeger, Luke Moule, Lisa Franklin and Patti Gallant; fibre artists Angela Roorda and Carol Shortt; printmaker Tony Churchill; screenprinter John Kumis; taxidermist Jess Lee; mixed media artists Lenny Jones and J. Masil Cyanotypes; photographer John Winters; photographic artist Daniel Brinks; and ceramicist Palette Potter: Ceramics by Tessa.

The focus of this exhibition is to show the gamut of skill, talent and flair that is available to all of us in our own neighbourhood, creations from our own neighbours and a reminder if we need one, to discover local. The Grand Gallery is open Wednesdays and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m., and Thursdays through Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m. with a Paris Lates event on Friday August 21st from 6 pm to 9 pm for folks to enjoy an evening of artist introductions and refreshments.
